Mr. Karma Nima from Kuensel Print, Thimpu, Bhutan, has visited Thailand privately durint New Year 2007. He called me on new year night, while I was admited in Synphaet hospital. But he has a few weeks in Thailand, so we can plan later.
On Friday 12 January, we make a short excursion to Erawan museum in Samutprakarn province. The museum situate on Sukhumvit road, surrounded by under-constructed highway project. The museum building was designed as an three-head elephant statue standing on the magnificent column. Inside the museum has three levels, underground, level floor, and heaven which is inside the elephant body. The antique items and art decorations are worth visiting.
During winter time, seagull from Siberia migrate to Bangpoo area for their food and climate. It makes the sky bird feedings one of the entertaining activities for city dwellers. The sunset view at the Bangpoo overlook bridge is just wonderful. And the dinner place after sunset are dotted around the road and the sea shore of Bangsaen 2 area. We went to Bangpoo Sailom, a boutique open air restaurant.
We planned to meet again on Friday 19, but Mr. Karma’s mother has passed away abrubtly in Bhutan. Then he has to cancel all program and rush back to Bhutan on Jan 18. We are so sympathetic to Mr. Karma and his family for this lost. May the independent soul be settle on the peaceful heaven!!!
